Frida Bollani Magoni hosts great Italian and international artists for a special evening in support of the vEyes non-profit organization.
“Frida and Friends” is a unique event conceived and organized by the extraordinary pianist and singer Frida Bollani Magoni. Together with her friends, renowned Italian and international artists from around the world, she will perform on Saturday, July 22nd at Pisa Jazz (Giardino Scotto) in a magical evening, with part of the proceeds going to support vEyes, a non-profit organization that develops technologies for people with visual disabilities.
It will be an incredible show where the artistry of Frida Bollani Magoni blends and merges with that of musicians ready to improvise and surf together across different musical genres. It will be a magical encounter between the piano keys, voices, and other instruments, aiming to entertain and have fun together, not knowing which new worlds will be reached through the power of shared music.
Frida Bollani Magoni, born into a family of artists, was born on September 18th, 2004, in Versilia. Immersed in the world of sound and music from an early age, she began studying classical piano regularly at the age of 7 under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Razzuoli, who taught her Braille music notation. She has collaborated multiple times with Massimo Nunzi’s Orchestra Operaia (Jazz Big Band) as both a singer and a pianist, performing at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. As a guest, she performed at the Bianca D’Aponte Award (a singer-songwriter competition) at the theater in Aversa in 2017 and at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Special Olympics at the Montecatini racecourse, playing and singing in front of 10,000 people. She has often made surprise guest appearances in concerts by her parents (Petra Magoni and Stefano Bollani) both in Italy and abroad. She also has experience in the world of musicals, having participated as a singer in “The Adventures of Peter Pan” and “Jesus Christ meets the Orchestra.” After the great critical and public success of her first two summer tours, where she sold out venues and performed on prestigious stages in Italy and abroad, Frida returns to the Giardino Scotto, which saw her debut as a bandleader in 2020 with her live show featuring famous songs rearranged by her and some original pieces. The evening will be enriched by the participation of many special surprise guests…
