Louis Cole is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. He has gained recognition as one of the leading futuristic, sonic, and funky drummers in the world. Cole is known for his involvement in the band Knower (which he co-leads), and his mission is to “create deep feelings through music.” Blending dynamic funk and pop, Louis Cole presents his own unique and eclectic repertoire, showcasing his prodigious talent on stage. His discography includes albums such as “Louis Cole” (2010), “Album 2” (2011), “Time” (2018), “Live Sesh” (2019), and “Live 2019” (2020). He has also collaborated with artists like Seal, Snarky Puppy, and Thundercat. His latest lineup, performing at Fano Jazz By The Sea 2022, features keyboardist Chris Fishman, known for his work with Joshua Redman, Wynton Marsalis, Flying Lotus, Aaron Parks, and Terri Lyne Carrington, as well as bassist and drummer Nate Wood, a member of Kneebody and a sideman for Sting, Wayne Krantz, Donny McCaslin, Taylor Hawkins, and Tigran Hamasyan. Special guest vocalist Genevieve Artadi joins Louis Cole as his partner in Knower.

Ze in the Clouds is a multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Milan. His compositional style is the result of a continuous avant-garde evolution rooted in contemporary jazz. Ze in the Clouds shares his many stylistic facets without boundaries with artists and individuals who share the same vision. This talented and young musician will open the evening at the festival with the premiere of an original production specifically commissioned for the event. He will perform a solo on keyboards and electronics, given complete creative freedom with only one guideline to follow: “Rhythm and Meaning.”
